The only bad times to be a homehealth nurse are temp extremes. 103 plus a black car parked in the sun make for a very HOT day. :sunny:

108 degrees on my on-board truck thermometer from Beacon Hill all the way to Mercer Island during my afternoon commute at 4:45. 105 degrees back home in Issaquah. Went out on the back deck to heat up the grill and it was already hot with the gas off! :-k
Thank God for the AC......and my daughter's slip'n'slide! :sunny:

On the trip home down 405 yesturday about 2:30, it felt like I was riding face first into a hair dryer. No relief even at 60-70 mph.

Hey guys/gals,..if you have any elderly neighbors please check on them while this heat-wave is hitting us,..I checked on my freindly Grandma next door and she said she's fine,..sometimes they don't have any family near by 2 do this so we need 2 pick up the slack,..remember the old addage,.."it takes a neighborhood 2 raise a child",..we can also use this pertaining 2 the seniors in our area,..JMHO!
