When You said that the gates open at 0600 does that mean the gates to the boat launch?
I will bring a cooler full of ice and drop it off at the launch.

They told me on the phone the other day that the earlest they can open the gates is 5:30am., even tho the sign at the boat launch gate says 6:30. I'll call them again to see if they really are going to open the gates on Sunday at 5:30. Maybe everyone should call so they know we'll be there.

Would you mind telling them there is a Derby that morning, estimate 20 or so anglers, and see if they can open a bit early? That would be very helpful.

FALSE , THE STATE PARK GATES DONT OPEN TILL 6AM .. THE BOAT LAUNCH GATE IS OPEN @ 5AM ... :batman:

I just called the Lake Sammamich Park office;

the picnic area gate will open at 6:15 to 6:30 am

the boat launch gate WILL open at 5:30am. I specificly asked if it WILL open at 5:30 and told him why and he said "Yes it WILL be open at 5:30.

If you have not paid or signed an Entry and Liability Form, please print them and fill them out before you get to the launch. This will make things a lot quicker and easier for you.


Besides the entry of $15 on Sunday be sure to bring $7 for the Launch fee. I don't know if it has been mentioned before but it is $7 to Launch.

In addition, there will be WL.com apparel and goods to buy at the BBQ, so stock up.

Look forward to meeting and talking to you at the Extravaganza. I promise you, you'll be talking about this Event for a long time. We're still talking about last year.

Well Jeremiah,..my Rig is still down so the Tourney is out for me,..oh well hopefully next year,..now I'm still trying 2 get there for the Weigh-In and the BBQ,..and that's even a task in itself,..so I'm still trying!
