Where do you get your bassing information?

I was wondering what peoples sources of information are

Some of mine:

Obviously washingtonlakes.com forums and lake reports

bassresource.com is an excellent site for anything you would ever need in the world of bassing.

Outdoor channel on TV (In-Fisherman, Hank Parker outdoors, Ultimate Match Fishing) I think Ultimate match fishing is an excellent show because the details are explained, the host asks the anglers to explain their approach, and the anglers are fighting against eachother for the win. It's not some show where they go to a stocked lake and show off new lures. Most of these shows however pertain to southern fishing I believe and it's a bit more finesse up where I live. But still nice to see.

Google maps. I check up on google maps and get really good quality pictures of lakes. Structures can be seen even from the satellites in the sky.

Books and videos as well. I find the In-Fisherman videos very helpful.

Oh man, where to begin. I guess anywhere I can find it.
I have found good stuff everywhere. Almost every fishing website has something in its contents that's useful. Even the real small unknown sites can have some good info. Really it just depends on what your looking for.

General info. (in my favorites) for me would be:

Couple of other forums in Cali
and a ton of smaller sites

But to be honest, the most I have learned or read about fishing is in forums like this one. Asking questions, sharing info. and talking to people is the best way to learn. Besides of coarse going out and doing it. I think specific info. on a lake or technique is best found by asking the locals.
Now, anyone can sit here and read all they want but will not have any success if they're not putting that info. to use on the water.
As far as TV, I watch all the VS and ESPN shows. I think the best info. comes off of Basscenter. :thumright

i agree with fishnislife but bassmaster magazine and bassmaster times are my favorites.

I relie on my DVR to record every fishing program every weekend / I also get Bassmasters mag. / i have over a thousand bass mags that i have collected over the years .. BBD

BassCenter is on at 8am Saturday mornings on ESPN and it follows the Bassmasters tournament trail. John Kernan and Byron Velvick are the hosts and the show is awesome. I love the maps and diagrams of the lakes they have for the tournaments. During the show they also do really good walkthroughs on specific techniques.
My buddies has been on Destination: Bass before so I am kind of partial to the show.
Just check you TV listing to find it. If I don't go fishing Saturday mornings I will sit and watch about 6-7 fishing shows on ESPN and VS.

Look for a little blue trade paperback book entitled NORTHWEST BASS & PANFISH GUIDE that was published around 1977 by a Seattle-area bass club. This book has several sections in the front that teach about bass and how to use a variety of lures. It has another few chapters that are specific to some of the premier bass waters in the Northwest, and it wraps up with an extensive index of bass waters in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. This was my bible to bassing when I started out. Just don't do what I did - lose the book!
Next get ahold of one of the guidebooks on Washington fishing that tells you what bodies of water hold bass.
Subscribe to Bassmaster Magazine!!!! It's by far the BEST magazine out there for techniques.
Join a bass club and get active. Fish the tournaments even if you don't think you have a prayer of winning. It's important to get time on the water with other experienced bassers.
Practice. Practice. Practice. You can't play the piano without lots of practice nor can you become a good bass fisherman without lots of practice and time on the water.
In the off-season practice casting, flipping, and pitching. This is the time to surf the web also.
Stay on this website and read the input from other bass guys. You'll quickly discover who has the skills and learn from their insights and suggestions.
