Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

I had heard rumor abouth this monster on KJR Saturday morning fishing show. I believe his brother was the previous WR holder. I'm heading for Ucuelet in August, I may have to whip out my map and see how far off Saskatchewan is.......

Go about half way between here and Chicago and turn north. He and his brothers have been the record holders with 30 some pounders then they hit that Hawg.
Have fun up on the island and catcha big King for me. I don't think I'm going to make it this year.

Hey bodo I posted this up already on June 7. The thread has faded a little into the forum abyss. But a catch like that definitely deserves two posts. I'll bump it up so other who haven't seen it can. It's in the Freshwater Forum. I'll call it a bodo bumb.

Right on!
On top of being Fishing Geeks they're also jetboat runners, skinny water guys. I had the links sent to me from a mutual jetbaot aquaintance. They knew I'd like it and I thought you guy's would too. I guess fishing is far from dead! Myspace and some rock to boot! Now those are some fish eh!

I didn't know the 37# record out of Lake Pend Oreille had been beaten until I heard about this new record.
OK I clicked on the two links and I didn't know about the Alaska record. I guess the folks around Pend Oreille don't know either. The fishingeeks have some nice coverage - fun to watch.

I have never seen a trout anywhere near this size , Amazing catch ! Canada has some worldclass fishing lakes ... I hear that they still have lakes up there that have never been fished for years ! Great rainbow ..
