Should be in your regs manual. If it isn't open now, it will be on Apr 1.
Have you been up there yet?

i just checked the regs. and they dont even have the lake in there.
i have not ben up there i was hoping to go there in my float tube just to check it out to see if it would be worth going to in the summer.

RE:bonnie lake spokane co.
there are 2 posts from Jan. 03 for this lake so I'm assuming it is a year round lake unless it has changed. If I remember right, Newman lake isn't in the regs either but it's a year rounder.
RE:bonnie lake spokane co.
THATS WHAT I NEEDED TO KNOW, I THINK I WILL GO CHECK IT OUT THIS WEEKEND.

Bonnie is year-round and should be ice free due to Rock Creek flowing through. Then again, most lakes in south Spokane County should be mostly ice free by now with the warmer weather and rain the last week or so. Unless I buy a small boat, I won't be visiting Bonnie anymore.

If it's not in the regs, my understanding is that it's a year round lake. It's a nice place. Every time I've been there I was the only person on the lake. Keep in mind its about 1 mile upstream through a creek from the launch, and you're very unlikely to catch anything this time of year.

The trip up the creek in a float tube would be pretty brutal unless you have a motor. Its a long, tight, winding creek with plenty of current flowing away from the main body. A canoe might be a better option.
Bass wise it produces good strong fish over 16" regularly.

As Gisteppo mentioned, don't bother going up with a float tube. It took me a good 20 to 25 minutes to get through on the creek and that was hauling a fast as I could go through the turns use a 12 ft boat and 10hp motor.
Bonnie lake is great for ice fishing(heard it might have gotten over fished a little last winter/spring) and in the spring the perch and crappie bites are on as well around spawning time.

Just speaking from personal experience, I've never seen one over 10-12", however I've only been up there 3 times, and once was when the water was so murky from a storm the previous 2 days that the lake seemed dead.
RE:bonnie lake spokane co.
I've seen 16" bass pulled out ice fishing at Bonnie. There were times ice fishing when the bass where catching better than the perch and crappie combines. But that is rare thing.

Great lake... But don't bother with a float tube. It took a half hour to get up it in a 14' jon boat with a 8 hp motor...

I agree. I took my canoe with a merc. electric motor up there once and it took quite a bit to get through the stream, even after a lot of rain. Also, you might have to fight some cows... just a heads up

Too much water, so many fish, too little time.
