Thanks for the note on the new format and including me in your exciting WL adventure! You have a great community of anglers and whether the site format changes or not, WL is a success! Nightime web stuff that brings a community together does steal a 'lot' of energy away from family, friends and the limited time we can afford to devote to RECREATION. Looking forward to the new formats and maybe a trip to Washington next year!

RE:The Future of WashingtonLakes.com
:thumright It might be nice to have a place that when reporting on a lake you are catching fish at, you could put a picture of the lures that work. I find that when someone says they caught a 5lb bass on a hand made lure from Ben Delaney. I want to know what lure and color and weight etc....etc...etc... Maybe just have a place to put a picture of that lure and place they got it. BTW...Ben's hand made lures are killer and can be purchased at Fish Creek Spinner's, one of our sponsors. Check them here... http://www.fishcreekspinners.com/694.html
A section of members "Lures That Work" might be a unique place to post your favorites. They could be linked to the new "Hot Spot" section. Also an incentive for paying sponsors to advertise their products. Make it a section for paying members only!
Just a thought guys...I know you will have time on your hands after the new site is up and running to think about new additions....:-) I know the new site will be a great Christmas Present to all. Happy Holidays, Steve

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

RE:The Future of WashingtonLakes.com
OK everyone, you have until Saturday MN to sign up at our Show Intro Special Rate. After that it goes back up to regular price. I know it's hard to buy something without seeing it (other than the screen shots on this thread). I will say the feedback I got from anglers at the show was hugely positive.
So if you're even considering it take advantage of the discount!
BTW, after the new site is up, you can expect any significant new features we develope will always go to Premium Members first. Just an FYI.

Hey Mike...
Do we need to talk to you about it to get the discount or just use this link to a sign up page? - http://www.washingtonlakes.com/Join.aspx

The price you see on that page is the discounted price. $18 for one year is 25% off the regular price of $24.

Quite the deal.
$24 for 1 year after sunday, or $30 for two years sunday or before. I'm not real good at math, but I think that is $1.25 a month.
Went through the Google checkout and everything worked just fine.....
Nice work Mike and Aaron, alotta people love this site. :farao:

If we pay for membership can we act foolishly or call other &*^%$ names?Hahahaa. What about the company yacht? Im still waiting for my keys Mike and Aaron. As a paying member I think we should be able to use Mike and Aarons yard and lawn to find nightcrawlers, also the sites yacht and new motorhome.Im hoping you guys fix those nice quads for our use and anything else we deem needed for ourselves.Other then that Im happy as a clam with the site.Great job in keeping us all in check.

I read today that CITI Bank isn't taking delivery on their $50,000,000 private jet. I guess that it would not look to good. So........ maybe you could get a good deal on it.Mike Carey wrote:The yacht is part of the NEXT upgrade.
