Drano Salmon in late August

Post by hinds2912 » Fri Dec 05, 2008 10:02 pm

I'm going to try to post a picture from a Chinook trip in late August. We were fishing outside of Drano Lake and had some phenomenal fishing. In three days of fishing we were only two fish short of limiting for the trip. On the last day we had the boat limited by 7:45 AM! The picture is of my wife's first salmon caught....ever! It weighed 41 lbs and ended up with the title of big fish for the trip!

Nice fish!

Drano wasn't as good to me as it has been in past years for salmon. Night fishing for steelhead is another story.
Life's short - fish hard!
