Just wanted to let people know that there seems to be a bunch of humboldt squid in the Westport boat basin. I guess they are dying after spawning and there are so many the WDFW has lifted limits on them. I have gone fishing for these giants in Southern California and not only do they tast great and make great bait but they also put up a hell of a fight, especially if you get a 50 pounder. Its too far for me but I would definitely go get some if I was closer.
