"Congrats to Mr & Mrs Skeetr"

Post by BassinBomber » Fri Aug 08, 2008 9:22 pm

Well people,..Skeetrzx225,..a member in good standing and a friend 2 many of us,..is getting married soon! I believe he leaves 4 Silver in Cowlitz either tonight 8-8-08 or tomorrow 8-9-08 not sure,..dosen't really matter,..what I'd like 2 do is see how many replies of "Congrats" this thread can get and some nice, clean, gentle ribbing we can give him before he and the Mrs return from their Honeymoon! If I'm not mistaken they don't return till the 17th of Aug,..those of us that know Phil realize he's a heck of a guy and a good Basser with all the bells and whistles,..lol,..so let's see how this goes,..I hope he dosen't have access 2 a computor over there,..ideally we don't want him 2 read this till he returns,..so c'mon guys/gals let's see how much LOVE we can muster! Thanks 4 caring!

Congratulations Skeetrzx225:cheers:

From a guy that has been married now 27 years, here is a little advice to make your marital journey go a whole lot easier......

The first thing when you wake up in the morning and throw your legs over the side of the bed, turn around and say to your wife, "I'm Sorry".
You might as well get that over with, because at some point during the day you are going to have to say it anyway!:eye:

Stan.
Enjoy Your Days & Love Your Life' Because Life is a journey to be savored !!!! GO FISHING

As Ben Franklin said: In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria.

Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health.

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of poop
There is no need to thank me for this valuable information: I'm doing it as a public service.

Congratulations Phil to you and your new bride.

Hopefully you were smart enough to have signed a contract or pre-nup prior to your bride bonking you on the head. Or the least agreed that she will never ever ever EVER EVER ever get in the way of fishing and being with your buddies on the water......did I say NEVER EVER!!

Again Congrats!

HaHa,..Marc I showed my wife your quote and she bellied over with laughter,.LOL,..anyways Phil,..I've been married 14 yrs this Aug 27th and I can honestly say that since we've been together 4 18yrs now {14 married} I've never,..ever,..waken her up without a cup of Java,..and have never ever not kissed her B4 I leave 4 work,..also call her when I get 2 work,..LOL,..so if we spoil our significant others with love and affection and all those little things that we as men take 4 granted,..we win,..a happy wife means alot of fishing,..but you know this man,..have a happy life!

Funny post BB, very true. I'll try the "I'm sorry" line first thing in the morning and see how it goes.
But a happy wife definitely means more fishing.
I have been with my wife for 11 years and married for 6. The best advice I can offer is communicate. The key to any relationship is quality communication. Your wife should be your best friend.

Good luck skeet! Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you let her go to a shoe store alone with your credit card.
