"South-End-Bass-Boyz"

Post by BassinBomber » Thu Jul 31, 2008 9:58 am

I wanted 2 post this thread and see what kind of reaction I get from the members,.."S-E-B-B" is what I would like 2 name the club,..I have a few interested already and I've seen a couple of posts about starting a Bass Club,..when I 1st read the posts I was already thinking that we should have a Bass Club in the Southend of Seattle,..of course all are welcome 2 join and you dont have 2 reside in South Seattle at all,..I will do some research on the subject and post as it grows,..this will be a good time 2 meet others on WL and 2 interact and improve on our skills as Anglers,..let me know what you guys think and let's see if this can "Take-Off" as I hope it will,...also the name isn't set in stone so any suggestions will be welcomed! On a side note,..we decided 2 go with the informal approach and not get 2 involved in the "Club" aspects,.so for now it's just a "Hang-Out"!

Sounds like a cool idea! My only question: Do you need to own/have a boat to join? Any requirements to join if this gets up a rolling?

Sounds like fun. I'm about as south as you can get (Fed Way). Am I eligible? I am shorebound and have only fished from a boat for bass boat once.

Sorry BB but I'm a "HAWGHUNTER" and i have sponsors , I cant affiliate myself with non official organizations .. that was my whole purpose of posting that link ... Becoming a official fishing club requires licensing and permits and they are regulated by The state fish and wildlife dept . Dont get me wrong here ill fish with just about anyone on any giving day , I just cant break any of my current clubs Laws and Bi-laws ... Iv seen threads like this before and it ends with someone attempting to make a new club come about and no one ever follows through with it .. So i pose the challenge to you to be the first ...Good luck and let me know if you need addt'l info .. BBD :salut:

Good luck to guys and starting this club. Sounds cool. I wish you this best with this brownbomber, it is a tough and endless road. It will never be "complete", it will be an ongoing process to create a better and bigger club. A lot of work will need to be put into it, but the benefits in a couple years will be great. You could have the start of something amazing. I look forward to seeing how well this goes for you guys.

Would I be eligible?

The thing is...I'm moving down to Longview soon and it probably couldn't work out huh? Anyone down for a Clark County Club? CCC!
