OUCH!
Is it a normal car garage with a door or it it just a covered area?
If it's an indoor garage, how'd they get in? Anyone else get broken into nearby? Would seem very suspicious if you were the only one that got hit, might mean someone knew what you had and the values of those setups....

Report it to the cops and let em know how much each of those setups is worth. Check CL, and ebay...Some crooks are dumb enough to flip em right away at such an easy place to get spotted...
Don't chase reports...Be the report others chase....

I would be scouting local waters....see if you recognize any gear.(That is,if you have that kind of time)

I'm with Sam, it could have been an "inside" job, as in somebody knew what you had in there. My roommate in college had his mtn bike stolen from our garage and he later saw a neighbor boy riding it (the idiot stood out because he was riding a bike with slicks on it in the snow, plus trying to ride clipless pedals with street shoes on).

Anyway, the kid had seen us store them in there and the police matched a footprint to those very shoes.

Sam also had a good point about watching Craigslist, eBay and pawn shops for your gear.

Sorry to hear you lost your gear, that sucks man.

Yup, Im in for that. Ive helped friends recover stolen items before. A show of force will keep them from getting stupid durring the recovery effort. We have poles in 3 locations at our place (we have to many)... they can only steal 1/3 of them unless they are very serious.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.
