fishing trout in salmon creek

has anyone tried fishing for trout in salmon creek near klineline pond? i know its catch and release but be nice to have my little brother catch a trout :)

i would say its better to fish for steelhead in salmon creek........:-$

Heard steelhead only run through there like 4 days out of the year

There are also wild cutthroat, but they are small.
