Snohobassguy, get a regulation booklet at your local Fred Meyer, that would be the easiest place to find one.
Also, most likely that bass was very close to "getting down" with a female bass so they could make babies. This is the most important time of the year to practice Catch and Release ! Eating bass is not a crime, but I don't think you'll make many friends doing it. Its ok though, you now know what a bass tastes like, and hopefully you'll release so you can catch quality fish til the day you die.

Yeah, it was just me wanting to prove to my friends that I could catch bass on that lake. Got any recommendations on cheaper cameras that I could take on my float tube, or cases to protect my current camera? I have no problems with catch and release, but I want to take pictures, and thats harder to do on a float tube :). Plus, I have the bass regulations memorized, so need to worry about that anymore.

I bought a new Olympus digital cam this year, best cam you'll find for $200. They sell bad ass cases at Fred Meyer for like $10. Now back to the Nice bass pictures... :)

Caught a nice one yesterday that was 3.9 lbs. Had someone take a picture of it for me but didn't know it was on video. I caught this guy on a 5 inch banjo minnow.

Woo Hoo! I thought it would be a long time coming before I caught something worthy or posting here! Met up with Sam Kafelafish and caught my 1st & 2nd Smallmouths EVER last night. The 2nd one (pictured) suprised us both! This is fun stuff, I think I'll keep at it! It was nice meeting you Sam and thanks for the help!!

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Gringo that was a fun little outing. I fished that spot ALL last year and didn't get one even within a pound of yours, but was sure happy to be the one to lip it and bring it in for the photo opportunity.

These bass have been acting goofy this spring, hopefully soon we'll be able to go out there and get a few more each outing like the fishing should be now...

Keep ticking those spinnerbaits off those rocks Gringo, it seems to work!

Damn, its good to finally catch some fish. Went to Goodwin and got out of the float tube for a while. Borrowed a friends 12' with Trolling motor. After getting pushed around in the wind on the east side, we jumped across the water to the west side. Almost immediately I caught a 3.5 lb smallie. About 30 minutes later I got a 3.25 pounder, followed by a 3 pounder. I used the 4" pumpkin senko the entire time. Worked great. I will be back for sure!

This largie is from Beaver Lake, King County today (hot, muggy, in other words nasty). 4.00-5.00 lbs, a tiny bit bigger than fishingmachine's a few hours earlier. We hit the lake about 2 and fishingmachine left around 7:45 with 20+ fish under his belt including a nice 5 pounder. I stayed an hour longer and landed this bass on my way back into the launch.

Remember that spot that we said we'd go back to later but we never did? Well there were two bass there, the two pounder that we saw the first time and one of its huge friends. Caught the five pounder on the last cast of the day, didn't come back for the two pounder because it was a five minute long fight and I REALLY had to leave.
