you would have to carry your boat a good ways to get it in there. float tube or a small raft would be the best option. even a ponttoon would be hard to carry that far.

if everyday was a good day there would be alot more fisherman.

No problem carrying my boat in there. It's a 17 ft canoe my son and I built but I've got a rig with balloon tires to put it on. I can walk a long ways with it. May even try coming in from the Lake Hills library/Samena side just for a bit more stealth from 148th. :-$

Just an attempt to post this weekend's success. Hope this comes through. I haven't caught a largemouth since living in the midwest so it was a bit shocking to see how it compared to the smallies I've caught in recent years. I had to fully extend my arm to fit the fish into the frame. Good luck to you all.

I went out to Larsen early this morning with my dad. We were using the black and chartrouse tubes, with these large jigs. Our whole set up was pretty messed up, i hate tubes with the head showing, plus the were so heavy.
Surprisingly, my dad and i both had two hits, but couldn't hook them.
Were gonna go pick up some smaller jigs later, and head back to Larsen this evening before the fire works start.
