New to the forum and while not new to fishing, just getting back into it. Fished all my life or at least the early part of it, my grandparents took me 2-3 times a week. Then while in the military fished all over the world, including 3 years in AK (spoiled me), where I learned to fly fish. Took way too many years off to work and establish my "career" , now its retirement time and back to fishing:nemo: .
Got my fly fishing equipment up to par (thanks to Craigslist) with an Orvis 5 weight and a G Loomis 7 weigth, already had a 6 and 9, so think I am ready. had the float tube (hope it doesn't leak after 5 yrs in storage :colors:) and just ordered a Colorado Outitter XT pontoon. So I am really ready...:bounce:
Live in Oly, so any advice on places to go, especially with kids would be appreciated. I have a camper and love to camp and fish, so anything over the mtns is great too.
The forum has already been very helpful, nice place to learn, and looks like a lot of friendly folk..

If you're down in Olympia contact bigbasstaz (Tim) -- that guy is quality and knows his lakes down there and could really help you out with both bass and trout lakes that are good. Spanaway, Offut, Meridian, and American are always fun. KTK
