good float tube lakes
Just got a float tube for my birthday and I'm looking for small, non busy lakes in King County to try it out in. I already know Haller Lake...any other suggestions?
RE:good float tube lakes
Pine, Beaver, Angle, Green, are all popular lakes that also see float tubes on them...

Just off the top of my head I would say Angle lake or Lake Fenewick. Arnt the most productive lakes. But they have speed limit restrictions, so you dont have to worry about getting pushed around. I cant help you wit either one of these lakes, even though I have been fishing these lakes my whole life. They are unpredictable (or to me at least). Fenewick decent bass and water areator, it supposed to help out the winter kill, but I cant tell. Angle, triploids and hits almost 50' deep. It has the perfect recipe for big trout...... but I cant tel what cookin lol

Lake Alice is a nice little lake for tubes. No gas motor allowed and is small enough to kick around the whole lake pretty easily.

The question should be "what are NOT good float tube lakes"? Some examples of lakes that would not be on my list are Washington, Sammamish, Stevens, or any other lake with heavy boat traffic, including those water skiers that absolutely need to buzz by you and your secluded spot while you're fishing, even though the rest of the lake is completely empty.

Let's not forget Cottage ( a little big) and Langlois (very peaceful!)

Clark lake is the perfect lake for a float tube, small weedy and near impossible to get any other type of watercraft in there.
Species include smallmouth bass, a few largmouth bass, pumpkin seed, bluegill, and crappie.

Holm Lake - one of the few lakes where I have caught more than one 5 pound bass. And, you might check out King County's Panther Lake -- bass there too.
A nice bass is too valuable a resource to enjoy catching only once.

Lake walker near Enumclaw is a nice float tube lake. The steep boat ramp makes it difficult to launch a boat but a float tube is no problem.

Joy lake. almost imposible to get anything in except a float tube. good smallmouth and largemouth

Great suggestions already. One I would add is Star lake.
Its got a really small boat launch on top of an old log. Also, when I was there earlier this year all the fish were right around the boat launch area.
