Gia. I stopped my list because it just keeps going. Del is tight, and he's actually on quite a few of the Handsome Boy Modeling School tracks.

A good radio show that plays a lot of local hip hop as well as classics and new stuff comin' out is Street Sounds. It's on KEXP (90.3) on Sundays from 6-9, and you can go to their archive and stream all of their radio shows up to two weeks after they air. I definitely recommend it if you want to know what's going on around the town. Hosted by B-Mello (west coast DJ of the year last year). I think he also hosts something on Kube, but I don't really ever listen to the radio. I stream everything.

People have asked me the instrument question for years just to annoy me. As a reply I cup my hands together and whistle through them loud enough to shake their thoughts for a while.

Music: Classic Rock, because rock and pretty much any other sort of music past the mid 90's has sucked for me with only a couple exceptions.

Queen
Aerosmith
Guns N' Roses (before Axl killed it)
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Metallica (pre Black Album)
Pink Floyd
U2
Led Zep
Nirvana
Cream
Nickelback
Eminem
Bon Jovi
Rage Against the Machine

That didn't exactly work. I climbed out a window and came back around the time she was supposed to arrive. She chewed him out for having the audacity to think he could tell me what to do or think or listen to. Those were the days.

Well.. while I agree with wishing I could crank what i want when I want, I was talking about leaving Tenacious D off my list.. being able to crank that and/or Bloodhound Gang whenever/wherever would be great. As well, I seem to have left off Suicidal Tendencies and D.I.

My musical interests are too varied to list here - I love listening to music of any type From "Alternative" to folk, Metal to Blues, Classical to Country. I tend to lean towards the more obscure stuff than mainstream. My Artists list would easily run into the 100's.

To narrow it down a bit, here are some of the shows I have seen live..

Aerosmith
Bon Jovi
Fleetwood Mac
Dire Straits
Rock & the Environment @The Gorge
Ozzy
Lollapalooza 92-97
Lovemongers
Eric Clapton
Gruntruck
Concrete Blonde
Steely Dan - just got tickets to see em again this July
Offspring
Endfest 95, 96, 97, & 98
Mad Season
Live
Filter
KMFDM
Korn
Pearl Jam
Green Day
Stabbing Westward
Soundgarden
Alice & Chains
Jim Rose Circus Side Show
Flock of Seagulls
Henry Rollins
Sponge
Bumpershoot almost every year
Lollapa-nude-a 96
Berlin
Smashing Pumpkins
Supertramp
Lillith Fair 98
Dave Matthews
Brahms Requiem
John Lee Hooker
Clarence Gatemouth Brown
Carrie Akre
Goodness
U2
Gypsy Kings
Jaguares
BB King
Sucidal Tendencies
The Ramones
Violent Femmes
Second Coming
Sarah Mclachlan
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Rage Against the Machine
Prodigy
PJ Harvey
Nine Inch Nails
Natalie Merchant
Jane's Addiction

I am sure there are more I forgot over the years!:shaking2:
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

I think this thread should have gone in the direction of "High Fidelity"...
