heres a pic of our boat The Suicide Duck II
we bought it in Sept. 05 and they told us we would have to wait 3 months to get it in green so I camoed our brand new 1660 Smokercraft w/70hp jet before it hit the water. Hubby being a duck hunter camo was a must.

On the second voyage of the porta-bote, I had my camera batteries charged up. Got some nice fish blood in it to stank it up, breaking it in properly. :colors:

After all the great pics of really nice boats on this thread, I'm almost ashamed to show a picture of mine. But not too proud to take it fishing just as soon as I can. Ice out is still a ways off.

Don't worry about it Lotech. The fish don't care what kinda boat you have. That's a great setup for your little trout lakes.

You keep your downriggers up at almost the middle of the boat... do you think there is an advantage to that rather than closer to the stern? Just wondering, I always worried about crossing the prop?

Yeah, he LOVES to go in the canoe - and it is alot better now that he has learned that when I release the fish, even if he jumps in after it - he will never catch it

My "dinghy" is a 10 foot jon boat that has a custom swivel seat and a 40lb thrust minn kota maxxum. It ain't pretty, but it doesn't leak. :thumright

That's my boat, only mine is 2 feet longer. Those are my tie downs, only yellow. I wish that was my pickup, or one like it. You can keep yours. Where did you find the anchor pulley that's mounted on the bow?
It looks like we could fish the same secluded waters. With walkie talkies would be nice.

The pulley is custom. It was already on the boat when I bought it.

When the weather warms up a bit, we should definitely do some fishing! Two boats are better than one; we can cover more water.

The only things I don't like about my boat are 1) It's not very stable, so I avoid standing up in it. 2) The maximum weight capacity is listed at 275lbs. I weigh more than that -- without any gear!

I felt embarrassed to post mine at first but heck Im 15 I can't afford much mowing lawns.

It's a 8ft plastic walker bay and can only fit one person in it.

I do have the motor but no battery for it yet, but I plan to purchase one soon, (Im getting tiered of rowing everywhere).

I plan to purchase a mini downrigger for it to as I have enough money for both now.

Don't be embarassed. Those are great little boats for small lakes. I know several guys that use them around here.
Look in the bottom right corner of my pic. and you will see part of my other boat. It's a 9' plastic Bass Hound that I bought at Wal-Mart years ago.
