Nice pics! Welcome to the site guys!
I am going to Fall City sometime soon for some steelhead. I'm a lake guy but I've wanted to fish a river a long time.

I basically have been fishing since I was 2. Grandfather took me out to the trout lakes around Mt. Hood and have been in love with the wonderful sport then. I fish for all kinds. Mostly bass, steelhead, and more bass. Sorry I dont have a picture. This has to be one of the most interesting sites on the web. Hope I fit in.

Welcome Kurt! And dont worry - you fish, you fit in:cheers:
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Hey Kurt,
Welcome to the site. I am sure you will find a lot of what you are looking for here...and some of what you are not! (tee hee)
I, too live in Clark County, but have only been fishing a couple of years.
Perhaps we could get together sometime on the water. I am sure I could learn a lot from you if you can put up with a novice.

RE:NEW MEMBERS - INTRODUCE YOURSELF!
Hello my name is Ryan and I am 24 and I am currently finishing a deployment and can't wait to get back to the family next month. I also have a beautiful little 10.6 basstender waiting for me to hit the lakes with. I got introduced to fishing from my father(probably the same across the board). I was born and raised in Okalhoma so I am somewhat new to trout and very new to the ocean scene. My bread and butter are bass and catfish. I have really enjoyed the little time I got to go trout fishing before I left. So I can't wait to get back to it. I try and get out on the water about 3 or 4 times a month. I have two little girls so my time is limited on the water(unless I bring them along!!). Anyway other than fishing I am wrapping up a 7 year contract with the army and My wife and I settling down somewhere around spokane, Hopefully pretty soon. Other than that I Fish and I hunt that is what I do. Ha Ha. Reelfisher.

RE:NEW MEMBERS - INTRODUCE YOURSELF!
my name is aaron and i'm 28 and i live in shoreline. I work as a purchaser for a company that Boeing has contracted out to build a part for the new 787 project. I fish every chance i can get! I keep my float tube in the trunck of my car along with about 3 poles all fixed for different fish. Salt, bass, and trout/river. My uncle is the person who turned me on to it when i was about 8. i fish for any kind of fish i just enjoy being on the water and feeling the tug on my line. I fish really any lake i pass by and then later try and find it here on WL.com But you can mostly find me on Echo Lk in king county across from Aurora Village. Other hobbies include really anything extreme and outdoors also power lifting. If im not doing any of that then im with my wife and son.

Welcome to the site Aaron!
It sounds like you will be able to contribute a lot of good information with your length of experience fishing.
If you have any questions about a technique or particular body of water just give a shout out and someone here will have what usually is pretty good advise!

Welcome to Washington Lakes, Rabbit (Aaron).
There are many members up around your area so if you have any questions about local stuff just give a shout out. I am sure you also have a lot of good advice about fishing and skimboarding for us, too!
I see you skimming on your avatar...that always looked like a lot of fun, too bad I am old and fragile now so I will just watch.

RE:NEW MEMBERS - INTRODUCE YOURSELF!
Spincast Chartruese Roostertails everywhere and for many species, worm and bobber still work great, rainbow powerbait dipped in Berkley Trout Dip with a 5' leader and a slip weight above the swivel, Storm Wiggle Wart crankbait, perch and trout original floating Rapalas, silver/orange kastmasters. The Chartruese Roostertails work well in Lake Washington for smallies, but also #2/3 mepps agila with a silver blade and the orange sleeve removed from the shaft of the treble hook. Yellow perch are very easy to catch in Lake WA using a worm off the bottom. You can indeed catch a lot of fish from the eastern shore of Gasworks Park.
That is about ALL I have learned!
Thanks for the welcome.
