Lake Sammamish Perch Derby -9/15/18

Hello,
I am proud to announce that Trout Unlimited is hosting our 1st Annual Perch Derby on Lake Sammamish. The derby will be located at the Lake Sammamish State Park Boat Launch on 9-15-18. The event will support Trout Unlimited work to restore Lake Sammamish Kokanee and the surrounding watersheds. Adult and youth(under 15) divisions and over $1200 in cash and prizes!

Adult Division, The top prize for each of the categories (Longest Fish, Heaviest Fish, and Most Fish Weight (25 Perch Max) is $200 cash

Youth Division, The top prize for each of the categories (Longest Fish, Heaviest Fish, and Most Fish Weight (25 Perch Max) is $50 Dick's Sporting Goods Gift Card.

Yellow Perch are an abundant non-native predator of young kokanee fry. They are also so abundant that there is no limit or closed season.

Hello, with just over 2 weeks to go for this event we are up to $1,600 in cash and prizes for this event. Registration is OPEN! https://tinyurl.com/perchderby We will also be selling shirts for the event $10 ea for participants.

I love that you are putting on this event! I have trouble negotiating the curbed turns at the Sammamish launch with my trailer, but may try and manage it for this.
You may want to consider posting on the various Kokanee facebook pages.
