Each year my neighbor and I go out to a little bay on the northern coast of Oregon with lots of crab and very little fresh water. We regularly produce boat limits of 40+ per day depending on the number of people out with us.
84 in 36 hours was the crown jewel, and this was with only 5 pots! Had the wives with us, and could easily have caught more if we had all the gear that each person was allowed. Ah well.
My wife is a photographer in her spare time ( www.alyciastaggs.com ), so I became the subject for a while after the catch one day...

I think my sign-off is "Fish with a Friend." The fellow to my right is my friend Jeff. We were fishing the North Fork of the St. Joe in Idaho that day. He and I have logged quite a few miles together.
Where you go is less important than how you get there.

I just got a new computer and have yet to upload recent photos of myself with a fish. When I do so, I'll get a more adequate avatar up here!

My avatar is my personal best tiger musky out of Mayfield on my 34th birthday. The lake was a mess and it rained ALL WEEKEND!! The 2 tigers we caught that weekend made up for the miserable weather.
