New the Area, Need some

Post by tommymullins » Tue Nov 29, 2016 11:51 am

Hello fellow Anglers!

I just recently moved to Maple Valley in April, and have been primarily fishing the Green River. I am looking for additional Rivers to fish that don't take more than an hour and a half to travel.

I see a lot of chatter for the Skykomish, but that takes almost 2 hours with traffic from Maple Valley. Can anyone provide me with suggestions for the South King County region?

Much appreciated!

Besides the green and the Puyallup you are pretty much limited if not willing to travel.

Cowlitz might be in range, would probably offer better fishing than they Sky anyway, or head towards the coast, Chehalis, Wynochee, Satsop, etc. Probably pushing your travel limits, but they should offer decent fishing options.
