As far as I know all the land around that lake is private and does not allow camping. There are a few campgrounds at each end of the lake. Now that being said I have seen and walked thru some camp areas at the edge of the lake during hunting season, I came thru the woods on foot but there are some there but not sure of the rules. you could clearly see where people put up tents and made camp and tied up boats. Good luck be safe the wind can kick up bad on the lake so be careful.

There are 1-2 islands (depending on water level) just east of the launch at Mossyrock park and I've seen people set up camps on the eastern island on the west side of it. Legality I don't know, but you are pretty well protected from the wind there.

Thanks, everyone! Yup... keeping it clean is my thing; pack it all out and pick up all the other trash I find. I always end up taking out one or two 40 gal trash bags full of the kids' garbage.

Glad you found a good spot and thank you for cleaning up the extra. I do the same as well and when hunting in the hills seem to always find peoples garbage along the way and throw it in the back of my truck. Keeps it clean for the next person!!

Did you fish?
