water/fuel separators
I want to install a water/fuel separator on my Glasply, but I having a hard time finding what I want. I'm looking for one that has a clear bowel with a drain. Most all that I have found are metal or have 3/4 to 1" NPT inlets. Any ideas?

What Bodofish said....lol. You can try West marine they carry them, or online might be cheaper. You need the metal top part with the inlets this will hold your filter with the clear plastic bottom your looking for with the drain.

I've looked at Racor and others. I just don't see what I'm looking for. Goldenrod comes the closest, but that one has 3/4" pipe in and out used for dispensing fuel. I might try it, if not for no mounting bracket.

Doesn't matter where you buy. The one thing that is for sure, you can buy a separator or you can buy a Racor. It's the industry standard and what you will find on any commercial or work boat period. You can be in Tierra Del Fuego or Barrow or any place in between and you can get parts and bits for any Racor ever made.

You can buy a 1/4" aluminum head like this one.

Then you can buy the filter with the see thru bowl and drain like this one.

Both products mention motor brand specifics, but I'm sure they are available in all brands.

That is a nice unit but overkill I think. Water is heaver then water and sinks to the bottom the unit that Aj posted is what most guys use. I don't run a filter with a glass bowl just change out my filter every year. I do have a clear fuel filter on my engine that I can see when checking my oil. I also only run Non ethanol fuel in my boat with fuel stabilizer always.
If you think you have water in your tank run it close to empty and disconnect the fuel line and pump the primer bulb and put fuel into a mason jar and let it sit on the counter for a bit and you will see what your fuel looks like.
Remember there are better and best fuel filters in micron filtration.

Re: water/fuel separators
You might need to do a little jerry rigging but you should be able to find water separators with glass bowls at a lot of heavy equipment suppliers. (it has been a little while since I have been in that business so maybe things have changed)

Thanks for your ideas, I went with a S3240 with clear bowl.
