Cowlitz River-Harvest trout vs. Cuttthroat

Post by Lip_Ripper87 » Tue May 19, 2015 10:34 am

I'm embarrassed to say this but I forgot when harvest trout and Cuttthroat run. :( help please. I would like to take my son fishing for the first time for the same fish started on.
Fishing is the life of past, present, and hopefully future. We must keep it a live! C&R!

Relying on the say-so of someone on the net is risky at best. The regs are available at pretty much every hardware or sporting goods store or can easily be downloaded from the WDFW website :)

I make it a point to keep current copies on the boat, in my truck and on my computer for quick reference. Its a lot cheaper than a ticket.

I'm no expert on this, but I think they are in the river right now and will be throughout the rest of the summer. Just last weekend I caught a really nice one while Chinook fishing. Full bodied and probably at least 13" long, a very nice cutty.
