I had to work, so listened on my phone at my office. When they won the came I could hear fireworks going off all around the neighborhood.
One of the gutsiest, "never give up" endings to a game I have every heard. Poor Packer fans must be in shock...

Re: What?? No Seahawks posts? Go 'Hawks!
That was the single most stressful game I've watched. It was a storybook ending. I mean, they couldn't write it up any better than that. The onside kick that worked, going for two, overtime, and those last two passes that were perfect, but could easily have been picked off at the same time. I yelled so loud that the neighbors probably went deaf! After three and a half quarters of weak and almost nonexistent play, we rallied and came back... holy crap. Now we need to put the Patriots to bed like we snubbed Manning last year. Sory dez, that must have hurt lol.

Re: What?? No Seahawks posts? Go 'Hawks!
I am reminded of the following:
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
I feel like as fans we walked in that Valley until 5 minutes to the end of the game, and Wilson took us out of that dark valley into the light. Superbowl Light, that is!
Years from now, if Wilson has the career it looks like he will have, this will be considered one of the All Time Immortal highlights in his career.

Most incredible comeback I have ever seen, almost had a heart attack! What would be icing on the cake, center hikes over Brady's head on the first play for a safety! GO HAWKS!!

You know, this finish would be like a guy in a bass tournament struggling to catch fish all day, only to catch his winning weight in the final moments of the day. It shows a level of "never quit" that separates the average from the elite. For anglers it's the "one more cast" syndrome.
Re: What?? No Seahawks posts? Go 'Hawks!
Support, I will give you support. I don't think much of professional sports or collage sports. look at all the trouble they get into and mostly get away with. But I will say I support the Seachickens! At game time this past Sunday There were five of us up on the ponds side at Reiter. I got a nice 9 lb hen......last year I went up half hour before the playoff game and got a nice bright fish on my first cast and another about an hour later. Again there was like 6- 7 people there which is unheard of for any day of the week let alone Sunday.
Thank you Seachickens!

Re: What?? No Seahawks posts? Go 'Hawks!
I havent season tickets for 10 tears now. I did in the 80's and 90's but after I retired I just didn't want to spend the $.
But I did buy three tickets for this game, for me, my daughter and her husband. In the 300 section about 12 rows from the top but right on the 50. It wasn't cheap but it was some of the best money I ever spent. I had my Leopolds fired up and I had a great view.
You could see the game change in the 4th Qtr. The Pack D just looked tired. They had their hands on the hips and kinda looked like the Cougar D playing the Ducks! Lynch and Wilson will do that to you.
The Pack can only blame themselves. How can you get five turnovers, a 16 pt lead at half and a 12 pt lead with 3 minutes left and still lose?! They had the ball five times inside the Hawk 30 and only got one TD! If they would have got TDs instead of FGs the score would've been 28-0!
There were a lot of Packer fans around us and they were an arrogant bunch, full of smart ass comments. Glad they lost! Calling Wilson "the Midget" seemed popular.
I knew we had a great chance to win with five minutes left in the 4th Qtr, when the Pack Safety got an INT and fell down on purpose at mid field!! What? WHAT?? Nobody does that! It must have been a coaching decision. If so they need to get in the new Coach line! Five minutes left and they are doing the old "Dontbeatourselves deal!".
After that, whoever made the big plays was going to win... and we did they didn't. They just quit, I think.
CHEATERS GET LYNCHED!!!

Re: What?? No Seahawks posts? Go 'Hawks!
That was an awesome game! I've been calling it the Bipolar game, such an emotional high going in, a gradual decline in the expectation of winning, a near acceptance of having lost then POW! The high paced comeback and solid miraculous WIN!
Our offense slipped out early. Our defense kept GB in check throughout the game, limiting their options and keeping the score within reach, the tempo started to change in the third quarter and built to a climax in the final minutes of the fourth. In OT, our birth to the Super Bowl was secured! Our third!
The Hawks plucked victory out of the jaws of defeat! Ryan scored as many TDs as Brady in the Charlie Brown play, Ryan was Lucy. ;) Lynch with his near TD run followed by RWs non-contested TD jaunt. Thomas played with a dislocated shoulder, Sherman took that wicked shot to the elbow, had to have been a hyper extension, and continued to hold the line for the rest of the game in agony. These guys are fighters, they fought to the end and earned that win.
On to AZ Boys! Bring back another win! Just do a repeat of last year, will ya? My heart can't take another one like last Sunday with out a defibrillator! Ha Ha!
It is a shame this deflate gate has overshadowed the news this week, but, who knows, might put some bug in the Pats head that gives us a further edge.

Charlie Brown play?? I like that!
I love Deflategate! Its just the distraction we need for media week which is always nuts! Hopefully Bellajerk and Brady start pointing fingers at each other. They both have such huge egos that would be a real circus.

If you go back, look at the video of that play, it fits perfect. LOL Add to that Ryan's face, the expression, those photos are priceless! Gawd I love these guys! They are breaking the rules of conformity, plays that no one has seen done before and making little used plays to baffle their competitors. Kam jumping the line TWICE a couple weeks back, Lynch, the way he slows to a snails pace just before a TD and defying conformity with silence and crotch grab, these boys have some swagger! This is some serious entertaining football!BARCHASER wrote:Charlie Brown play?? I like that!
