FINALLY!!! First Steelhead

After 4 and a half years and countless hours on rivers it has happened. Yesterday I landed my very first Washington Steelhead! The adrenaline I had when the float went down was unbelievable. First I thought I had got snagged in a rock, then the snag fought back. I am very happy to finally get that monkey off my back. Now its on to many more!

Congratulations! Great job. It took me not quite as long but it took a lot of effort before I got my first. Mostly its luck of fish being where your at and getting the offering just off the bottom.Now the door is open go and get em!
