Boat parts used and new and used fishing gear

Post by Idstud » Mon Oct 20, 2014 3:42 am

Pacific Marine Exchange & Gallery Inc Address: 700 W Holly St, Bellingham, WA 98225
Phone:(360) 738-8535

The place I found in Bellingham has all sorts of used and some new boat parts for all sizes of boats. From railings to engine parts. Used canvas tops and even some small boats like dingys. Some downriggers and various fishing tackle as well. Electrical parts and pannels as well. Theres so much to list. I found out that the owner is closing his doors this coming Saturday at the close of buisness and then will be having an auction of whats left over the weekend of Nov 14-15. He is going to retire. Starting this Tuesday everything is 50% off. This is one of the last places that is known one like it in seattle is closed.

Dang! To bad they are not up and running online with a current stock list with pics. I would be all over it. This guy won't head all the way to Bellingham to not know if I could find something I can use.
If you go in there again suggest something like this. It would only benefit them.

We have a pretty cool auction house here that lists everything online so people have an idea of whats around. I was just thinking he would end up having less to throw away if a guy knew what was around there. I know others would love to go and scavenge the place but it's hard to justify heading that way. If you end up going, or anyone on here heads that way, take some pics of what is still available.
To bad someone couldn't have taken over the place for him and keep it going.

That makes sense. Im not sure how they will be doing there auction. I know there going to go threw whats left and he said something about a day before have a viewing then a auction it all off in 2 days. I have only been to one auction and I was young. It would be nice if someone could take over and continue keeping the place open.

If he has a good inventory of gear sounds like a good opportunity to resell on ebay.
