Re: Cascade Season Thread
Went yesterday morning. Got a bunch of dollies in the 3-5lb range. Got one huge silver probably about 15lbs. Saw a steelhead. Cool day to be out.

Where can you find out if the hatchery has got any back or is it just word of mouth? Thanks Brat!

I looked there but didn't see Marblemount on there for the Dec. 5th report. Then realized they didn't report because they had nothing to report. HAHA! Cool, thanks Mordalphus and Brat!

You can also go to the archives on that page, and search prior years to see when the major pushes of fish happen. Granted, it's a little off every year, sometimes by a week or even a month in say really dry times (meaning not a lot of fresh water to bring in fish, making them highball it straight to the hatchery when it DOES rain).fishindude wrote:I looked there but didn't see Marblemount on there for the Dec. 5th report. Also, if they haven't started trapping fish yet they'll have nothing to report. Doesn't mean the fish aren't there.

Re: Cascade Season Thread
if they were in there in any numbers the hatchery should have at least 50 by now though, the past high water should have brought some in though.rcthepirate wrote:Also, if they haven't started trapping fish yet they'll have nothing to report. Doesn't mean the fish aren't there.

I also posted a report, but thought I would put something on here as well. There was nothing up there, just a few half dead cohos. About 10 people were there throughout the day and it was the same story from everyone....nothing nothing nothing. Water is super low and clear. WE NEED RAIN
