That sounds like my style! LOL except I'd get all carried away mounting it on to some PVC pipe... you know, complicate the shizzle out of it.. LOL I think I'll give this a try though... with this X4 pro I have. Might save me $600! :cheers:

The Humminbird 898 works great, and I fished with someone who had the 1198, which was nice, but not worth the difference, in my humble opinion.

Wow, those are great pics you have! :) I was indecisive about what type to get, but after all your comments, I will definitely go for side-imaging finder. My only concern is this - I've read the review for this model, but it doesn't say which type it is :S So, do you perhaps know? And could you tell me if it's worth such a praise? Maybe, you know of some of its disadvantages, so you warn me in time.
