Love 'em too, especially Danny's, it's a sweet ride. Note the background.

Now Danny (ff) ? Why is your boat so darn clean. Not one scale, nor blood is in your boat. You must clean your boat with a toothbrush.

I have a pair of Hodgman hip waders I think theyre made of nylon..,they suck, they leak.... They cost $40. I just man up and deal with it. Like my dad always said; "it puts hair on your chest" It gets cold in January no matter how hairy my chest is,though lol

Without starting a nasty debate, I'll just say there are lot in the fishing community and on this site, including myself, that strongly urge the careful handling and safe release of all wild steelhead even on systems that allow the retention 1 wild steelhead per year. All of those retention systems are out on the coast/OP. Anywhere south or on the puget sound have to be released by law.
That said, I like to fish for nates at least once per year, they're awesome fish to be in the presence of and I believe if handled and released correctly have very low mortality rates.

We pulled in our first winter run on the Snohomish the other day. They're here, but the big numbers will start around thanksgiving.

Was out on the coast this past weekend and the guy next to me landed this beautiful 12 lb hatchery steelie. Nothing special to catch it either...just drifted a red bead and the fish inhaled the thing. Was too pretty not to take a pic. And he said it's his first one ever! What a way to start your steelhead career!
