That is a great idea. I always used a pair of wader socks to help with that problem but one of mine ripped in half and the other went missing so I think I'm digging out the duct tape, thanks for the tip

bigskyx: I give him a hard time everytime I see those things. Neoprenes drive me nuts! Too much weight and not enough mobility. I get claustrophobic in them. Plus the boot feet drive me nuts.

I have always wondered why danny likes those dam neoprene??? once you where breathables you never go back.....wader liners for the below freezing temps and your golden.

He covers a lot of ground.....and with those built in boots, can't be comfortable.

I thought it was gonna be easier in the cold as I got older. Thats a false one. Im cold just getting out of bed in the morn. The frigid weather just dosent get easier. Plunking is nice so I can make a fire and sit next to it.

Last few days on the coast have been a blast with big b run coho. Super bright with salty scales and sea lice. Also had the pleasure of fighting millions of chum and the occasional dark chinook. Tomorrow is my last day for 2013 salmon. Its been an awesome season for salmon all around, best in a while. Steelhead are next, hope they return just as strong. Heres some pics from the last few days, last salmon pics from me this year!

those are some prime looking chromers there. fantastic work. no more salmon though for you? you must have steelhead showing on your local rivers cause i know you are not going to be idle. the way i hear it danny takes a day off only to fish. gotta admire endurance like that.

Danny: I fished a few guys down the wall from you at Whatcom Creek on friday, was too hot to come over and say hi. Did you drive all the way back from the coast just to fish their? Wouldn't blame ya, the creek is HOOOOOOT!

Thanks Dustin, yea i wont be taking much time off lol. I just dont plan to take another trip to the coast after i head home tomorrow, so its time to start chasing those hatchery steelhead!

actually i havent ventured down that way this year, but last i heard they hadn't seen any fish, but that was a week or more ago
