Re: Salmon and Steelhead Fish Pictures
I never said I got a 20lb coho even though I have released only 1 before and I have seen a few definitely pushing close to that. Me and my dad have caught numerous 15-17lb coho, a lot on smaller streams too, this year my biggest is only 14 with a few other 13s and 12s. lots of 10s but average is 8-9lbs. No 20s but the season isn't over yetracfish wrote:Just having some fun....... Ive seen 20 pound cohos in AK. Never have I seen a 20 pound coho in lower 48 states. Ive caught 14-16 pounders in SW Wa. thats the biggest Ive seen. Someone needs a new scale

Some of the silvers out of the Hump have been downright monstrous compared to these tiny little buggers from the sound. Although we need some rain to bring in more of the shiny.
Re: Salmon and Steelhead Fish Pictures
I can attest to that. I think the smallest silver I saw on the Hump was 10 lbs or better. Big fish in that there river.natetreat wrote:Some of the silvers out of the Hump have been downright monstrous compared to these tiny little buggers from the sound. I have heard of that fish and that is a great specimen of the giant Bluefin coho! Very rare, meat firm but pale.
