Thanks for the update. Outdoor emporium just had their sale, they had 15% off on all reals. and 20% on rods, you have to be a member to get these prices. I forgot how much the membership is, 15 bucks.

its $17 and it wasn't including loomis rods.

As for the rebate shimano now has the 300 series out and lit looks like the rebate is also good for it. Its basically a curado with a bigger spool. Equal to the size of a round baitcaster but in a low profile. Curados have everything all in the one reel. If you can afford it there is no reason to buy any other reel.

I am definitely looking to buy another pair of Citicas. I bought one last spring and truly love it.
