1980's 13.5' Smoker Craft Alaskan w/20 hp Merc & Gal. Trlr
Greetings Washington Lakes Community
I'm selling my 1980's 13.5 foot Smoker Craft Alaskan. The boat is tabbed through the end of this month (June). The trailer is tabbed through the end of July. Trailer and boat title in hand. I purchased this boat about a year ago as my first fishing boat. I'm the second owner. I'm selling this in hopes of stepping up to something bigger.
The boat comes with a two stroke 20 hp mercury with trolling plate. The motor runs great. Leaks a little oil (maybe an ounce per month) but other than that, it runs like a champ. Starts up on the first or second pull every time.
The trailer is a galvanized ShoreLand'r. It's in great condition. The previous owner rewired it last summer before selling it to me.
I put in new floorboards, outdoor carpet, pole holders, and a new seat in the bow this spring.
The boat has a pinhole leak in bow below water level. It's a riveted boat almost 30 years old...Could be fixed with some JB Weld, but honestly, fixing it was more of a hassle to me than it's worth. You might end up with an inch of water in the back of the boat after a full day on the water, while planing. Hardly enough water to pull the transom plug to drain any water out once on plane.
Overall, a GREAT first fishing boat. Would love to see her go to a good home, to somebody who will use her as much as I do.
$2500 buys you:
Boat, trailer, 20 hp Mercury w/trolling plate, 6 gal gas tank, 3 rod holders, 2 life vests, and one heck of a great time out on the water.
All reasonable offers will be considered. Not open to parting out the package.
Thanks for reading!

Agreed Very wide with high side walls for its length.
I hope I'll enjoy my second boat as much as I've enjoyed this one.
Great first boat for somebody wanting to cut their teeth on something manageable.
The previous owner garaged the boat, and I've done the same.

Surely somebody on this forum needs a great fishing boat. This thing rocks on fresh water, and is surprisingly capable on salt. Always flushed out after salt runs... and it comes with the galvanized trailer and 20 horses...It's a turn key (pull cord) kokanee, trout, bass, walleye, salmon slayer. Outstanding all around fishing boat. Make an offer I can't refuse.

Just curious, did anyone pick this kicka$$ little boat up? Many memories in one of these smokercrafts.
