Eastside lakes
Forget about going fishing for the next couple days. Went to Blue Lake (Grant county) Big storm went threw and dumped so much water, the lakes were as high as I've ever seen. Water was cold and the fish quit biting. Only get a few strikes and was able to catch a couple nice big one. The wind was something else also. My trolling motor had a field day with my fly lines. Before the storm the fishing was red hot. Went up to northend of Banks and the same thing. Lot on the sounder and no bite.
Re: Eastside lakes
Spring storms do that. It was ok yesterday, but nothing to write home about. 10 days without fishing and I was getting cabin fever bad. Water temps are down 6 to 7 degrees. I'll wait for it to warm up next week.
Tom.

Re: Eastside lakes
Once again the bite goes away with low pressure. Who would have thought?
Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

Yeah, but if you can be on the water before the front comes in you can get into some great fishing!!
