Twin Lakes crappie

A fun day crappie fishing at Twin Lakes in Lincoln County. Using a green jig on a Bobber. 9 for dinner and 5 times that let go.... (the knife is 8")

Yep, I love a half and half of flour and cornmeal seasoned with onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, Johnny's seasoning and a dash of baking powder fried in canola oil. Served with cole slaw and french fries. Holy cow I'm hungry.

Were you on the upper or lower lake? I had a great crappie day on Lower Twin a few years back.

Lower twin . did 2 or 3 hours there got 50+ took home 9 great eating....

Went Friday and got skunked for crappie, but the bass were hungry. Caught well over 100 that were 1-2". And some bigger ones, but no panfish. Just an off day, or off presentation. I did have to leave before the evening bite though. Ah, but next time...
