Your best bet is to go down there routinely. When you see a bunch of people, it's stocked.

The WDFW says the week of the 12th, probably so they don't have a mob out there waiting to fish when they dump in the fish if they gave an exact date...

All I know is that when it gets stocked, let the madness begin....

Quite a few as in how many? When the parking lot is full, and theres no room of the bank, it's stocked....

Check their stringers too...that's a pretty obvious way to tell...

Based on the WDFW stocking dates, Thursday is a very common day for planting a lake. Friday is right behind Thursday. Look for Thursday around 4-5pm for the stocking, and then Friday to pick them up. As they enter the lake they will be stunned at first, give them a couple days to acclimate and everyone should have a blast. Lest all be nice to each other too, as it will be crowded with people, boats, and some funny stuff. Peace on the water is always key, especially with respecting the distance the fly guys need in their back casts and what not...respect every fisherman/woman, and keep an eye out for enforcement as they will be there...it's not fun to get a ticket for no parking permit or license on board. The little things always come back to bite ya. Look forward to meeting many of you this weekend. God bless!

Hey iPodrodder - can you send the link to that thread? Thanks...I'm too lazy to find it tonight. Do you think they'll stock it Thursday or Friday? Regards.

i saw a report on another board where a guy caught over 20 of them on gold spinners. he was casting them from his boat he said he didnt troll much but they should be evenly spread out now so trolling would probably be the best option. see you guys out there.

Absolutely PACKED down there. No room to park at the launch, not a single spot to fish from the shore, and boats everywhere...

They should all be hanging right around the launch for the next couple of days, so I'd suggest to continue to focus your fishing efforts right around there...
