Down there today. Seen quite a few pulled out. Most colored, some chrome. Got a small 8ish lb colored buck.

Does anyone here fish the deadline, I think I am going to start fishing up there if the crowds are light but it seems like the corner hole is really slow this year, saturday afternoon there was literally no one fishing it but I also did not see any roll.

Hmm I dont know why you didnt see any than. Maybe different spots. The fields started heating up in the afternoon aswell. The deadline is great for glowballin. Ive also seen a few pulled in the morning this year. Congrats on the fish schu

Tried glowballing down there last night. Hooked 2, one spit the hook after a few seconds, the other one decided to lodge itself against a log, and didnt want to come loose. Finally snapped the line after a few seconds, but it was a good sized fish (guessing around 15#) and quite shiny.

Did see 2 come out with other fishermen as I was leaving. Lots of rollers too.

Went down there today. Got there at 4 AM and started glow balling with my dad. After about 15 min we had our first fish on that spit the hook after 2 or 3 minutes. Over the next few ours we had 3 more hookups and landed 1 decent hen and a boot buck. Bonked both. Throughout the morning I didnt sniff a fish in the fields or the corner hole. Right around 3 I returned to the deadline. Stood on rock and hooked a hawg chromer. After about a 5 min fight on 8 lb leader. My line decided to snap. I was upset to say the least haha. I ended my day going 1 for 2 and my dad went 1 for 2 aswell. Sorry no pics this time.

Well if it's a good sign, the hatchery intake has more than doubled in the last week, from 105 to 229 hatchery fish, and they are taking eggs.

Heading down Sunday afternoon to try and get some landed.

I'll keep my eyes out for ya. I'm always wearing my camo Seahawks cap, and if it's raining, a bright blue rain coat (cant miss that a mile away!)

Arrived to the skook today for the afternoon evening bite. Started up by the hatchery and as I was getting stuff out of the car I saw two different guys hook up down below. Good sign, that little burst of rain mustve ushered some steel in. Noticed each guy already had a fish on a stringer, so there must have been quite a few fish in that hole. Went to go fish the corner and walked into a line of guys ripping it. Bout 10 guys fishing that small corner hole, but also they had around 6 fish on the bank. We decided to go to the fields where it wasnt so crowded. Fished small yarnballs for awhile, decided to switch up the trusty pearl pink corkie and immediatly hooked up. lost the first one. Hooked a second only a few casts later, got a small buck in. Waded across the river to a small island to fish a small pool on the other side, immediatly broke off and tied on a spoon I found earlier that day on a log. A gold Little Cleo, two casts later I hook into a bright hen. That was my first spoon fed steelie and I might be addicted, she hammered it like a freight train, and tail danced all over the place. Huge difference compared to the soft take of a corkie. Got a limit of steel on the small side. But there were a lot of fish being hooked today. Cant wait for the next burst of rain.

I got pretty luck with 2 brighter fish. Most people were catching dark fish. Probably about 30% bright to 70% dark coming out yesterday. I think fishing lower in the fields made a difference. The hole i got these 2 out of had some monster chromers swimming around but i couldnt get them to hit anything.
