Now for the forks report. Me and a Buddy decided to head over to forks this weekend. although still a bit early to chase wild fish, we decided to go check it out and see what our secret hike in spots looked like. Even though the fishing was tough because of how early it is, we still managed to go 4/6 with 2 of those being nice big ol wild steelies. We have our secret spots on all three rivers, hoh, sol duc and bogachiel, and actually caught one on each, and 2 in the hoh. Dont ask where cause i cant tell ya! Haha! heres pics.

Haha, this has been a super tough year comparatively ,so it took me 2 months to get 100 this year. Ha, they like both there, but jigs mostly in the low water. I was SUPER excited to get back there in the morning after the 8 fish day, bu it got light, and there was nothing left! i guess we scared um away the day before. weird the can dissapear cause nobody else hooked a thing either. weird.

Yea, i didnt use orange much until marc started killing fish on it. He tied it himself so i bought the closest jig to it at the store and killed um

I am surprised you don't tie up jigs. Orange has been pretty good for me and my dad this year, but pink is doing the best for me so far [drool]

Orange has been outstanding this year! I usually have aprox 20 different jigs with me and will keep switching till I find what they want. This year it always seems to be the same one that they start biting on. Out of 25 steelhead this year, I would say about 20 of them where caught on this jig!
