Hen-zilla!! Got the damn steelhead fever and cant sleep... drift boats will be hiitin the north fork in a few hours. Fish are gonna die

Pounded the nf of the stilly all day yesterday. Fished from fortson down To oso hittin every hole I knew and nothin. Watched my buddy lose a nice native, caught a few dollies but didnt even so much as spot another steelhead. Im thinking friday was the hot one.

Went back up to fortson in the evening and one guy had been there all day. Hadnt even seen a fish on

Taped out at 36" biggest steelhead I've ever caught. too bad it was uglyyyyyyy

That one was on the humptulips, I can't tell you where the other one came from lol. I just have a knack for getting late summers I guess lol

hahah dont worry.... i hit 2 summers today as well, haha, with 3 winters tho, so it evens out. Had 2 great guys out toiday and we went 4/5 on steelhead and caught 3 coho as well, fun day and finally found a few fish again!! [thumbup] [thumbsup]

those late summers look pretty cool but nothing compared to a chrome one but steelhead nonetheless, may I ask if it is a S river you are catching those from?
ODH and nate are guiding the skook duh...only thing I can guide are chum and quilcene coho trips thats it maybe march/april skook steelhead too.

I thought I would chip in here and post a pic finally. Most of my steelies have not been huge this yr and yes that's a shoe lace as a stringer since I had forgot mine. It still did the job. Tightlines...
