i guarantee i start to get one here and there once this rain we are gonna get this weekend hits, first push will come up, with a giant push of coho too. They upped the limit to 3 because the tests in the bay showed GIANT schools of coho in cornet bay and around the skagit mouth ready to come in after some rain, gonna be ON FIRE! im headed out in the AM with petosa for some fun on the skagit, we both had a day off, bring on the coho!

what ackerlund doesn't get any love, the cascade will be stacked with fish as soon as a drop of rain hits, you will be able to walk across them, reserve a rock on the island for me plz.

Well as expected the rain has made fishing AMAZING!!!!!

Hooked 36 coho on my test day today, the skagit bite is ON, the cascade has a few more starting to show and the fish are willing to bite. Out of the 36 today, over 15 were CHROME bright, nice fish!

Dont miss out! Ive got open dates left in october for this coho madness 3 or 4 fish limit per day depending on the river!!!!

SOOOO it rained A LOT like to much and the river was DIRTY high dark muddy less than a foot of vis, but fish EVERYWHERE huge schools moving up and into the hatchery at the cascade. SO i fished downriver in some small little pockets 5 feet off the shore with HUGE balls of bright eggs. Result? Believe me or dont. Ill tell you the truth....

landed 68 coho!!!

more casts during day with fish then without, bite SO well when water is colored and fresh fish are shooting up that have never seen gear. LOTS of darkies that have been darkening in the eddies, but a few bright fish too. River in the hatchery holes were CROWDED glad we found fish in pockets away from people. Was just unreal went through 8 skeins of eggs today! LOL

Hell yes this rain has been amazing. We caught easily 50+ coho today, didn't even keep track after a while. Pics to come, it was a long day! It was a parade of fish, bright fish, rosy fish, moldy kings, bright kings, a few chum and one big fat dolly! So many fish out there it's retarded. This is what we've been waiting for boys! Fish ON!

We limited out as well too. 17 fish hooked, 12 landed. Nowhere near your guys fishing though! I was up on the island, then the hatchery hole, then went to the mouth of the creek. Cascade is on fire!

This was the single most fun day I've had at work in a month. Very much an understatement.

Hopefully good steelhead fish like last year will be back. I coho season like this means great ocean conditions! And fishenfreak, was it you who gave me a few clusters of eggs last year on the cascade? You limited out and you gave me some eggs then I caught my first steely. [confused]
