That's my mug in picture above. We did see a few moldy 20 pound kings. My knee is tweaked from trying to keep up with Danny, the 19 year old kid, who fishes and guides like you hope for. What a blast!! Besides fishing Kenai area rivers in Alaska with my brother, this is the most fun I've had fishing in a long time. Lot's of cool moments. As I was reeling up to re-cast with my back turned talking to Danny, this silver blew up his eggs right at the surface and about took my arm off.
Somehow I did not fall off my rock and landed it in short order. I been catching silvers out of the salt recently and 3 were as bright as those.

Those are some nice fish...I need to go out there soon. Just wondering, if i were to fish the skagit where would be a good place to start on the river?

Meat was so soft it fell off upon hook set...
Hulk was a client and actually ripped its lips off...
Or possibly the old exploding eggs on a hook gag...

hahaha the fish checker lady came by and waved a wand over their heads, apparently that one had a tracking chip in its head, so she whacked it off, but i sorta like the hulk hookset idea better
