Bc steel spoons are arguably the best lures you can buy, the 50/50 are expensive, and most effective, but the genuine silver is GREAT too and if you go online you can order them from the company Pen-Tac for 3.70 each for the silver and 6.50 for the 50/50s. they are deadly on coho unreal ive nailed springers on um, steelhead, ect..

Looks like I am going to ordering some thanks for the feed back . Any size you you like the best?

I was looking at those to a local company right? Knowing me I will probrably end up buying both. I usually don't fish with harware but I like to have options when bite slows down.

Every one is entitled to their opinion, and whether they want to give reason for it or not is up to them.

Never fished BC Spoons, never met Bill or Todd. I am almost certain Rvr_fshr is not associated with RVRFSHR the product.

I do however fish RVRFSHR spoons and love em, that is why I haven't tried anything else (and no, I am not associated with the company either).

I love bill...and his line of lamiglas rods

I have met bill at sportco once and started telling me stories of when he was a guide on the skagit and stuff, pretty funny guy, whish I got my rod autographed though.
Can I get some love for the Stee-lee spoons, first cast ever with one fish on at the skagit, nice hatchery steelhead but stupid me broke the line when the fish was practically in my hands

i have both spoons, i bought BC steel and my buddy gave me RVRFSHR spoons, the thing is he told me they were expensive, but you guys says the rvrfishr spoons arent that expensive? They are very similar and both work great, but i figured they were similar priced... if not im for sure gonna buy the rvrfshr spoons instead, anyone direct me to the place to buy um? the all silver BC steel spoons are killer and only like 3.50 a spoon but the 50/50 are RIDICULOUS priced so id rather go rvrfshr if theyre less expensive

http://www.rvrfshr.com I have never bought BC spoons, but sounds like they are about the same price as the rvrfshrs. I've bought their spoons, hooks, and spinners - all have been quality products IMO.

Anyone tried R&B lures? their spoons look legit, never used any, but they're not as expensive as the other two. maybe worth a look guys.

does rvrfshr make spoons that are more weighted? The only ones I have seen are real thin, don't look like they get down enough. can't forget little cleos as well. deadly on coho.

They do 2/5 and 1/2oz. I pretty much only use the 1/2 oz.

If you want more than 1/2 go Gibbs, but they both do not hold up to salt water. Coating on both is a joke and they should mark the package. Buy cheep spoons and add reflective tape, split rings and swivel. Mepps, Blue Fox and other national brands hold up. These local and Canadian guys are hype and a waste of $ if you get them salty for a minute. I especially thought Gibbs was ok in salt...not so.

Cleos and most Crocs hold up to extreme use in fresh and salt. What's with the plastic coating on rvrfsrh spoons and spinners????

thats interesting on the gibbs spoons because theyre still very pricy. some spoons that worked well on the south fork for me were some geric weighted ones from the tackle shop in lynden. they were 3.99$ for 5 spoons with treble hooks. I just put siwash hoks on em and they worked great!

+1 BC steel seems to look much better in water and i get more fish on them compared to rvrfshr honestly

Ive killed 42 coho in the last 5 days, my fishin holes are on fire, every morning, limits, never fished past 11am all week, easy limits, fish swallowing eggs, if you book a trip, your GONNA get your limit, call me, lets fish!

Me and my dad did good across from the lil eddy, tons of fish but they do not seem to want to bite unless you have the right egg cure but we were latching into some chromers man but only landed one in 2 days of fishing

heard rockport is stacked with fish too. Lots of kings boy there are some monsters in there saw a couple that were easy 40-50lbs, 4-5ft long wow...
