I am very new to fishing for bass, and really don't have a ton of knowledge on the subject. I see tons of different recommendations for which rigs to use when it comes to lures, but I have run into one big issue: what is the proper way to fish these lures? I know there are different ways to fish a spinnerbait for example, and opinions will vary from person to person on what works best.
I guess what I am getting as is has anyone seen a site or something that really explains the different methods of fishing bass lures? I feel like I don't know what I am doing out there.

Do a search on google for the type of baits you want to learn how to fish, and you will be directed to a massive amount of information including videos.
I have $60,000 invested in a boat, motor, gear and baits all to catch a fish with a brain the size of a pea. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Youtube can be a good source with the number of views being a good way to weed stuff out. From ways to tie/setup the rigs (like Carolina vs texas rigged etc) to how to fish them. Most of the fishing pros like Bill Dance, Hank Parker, Jimmy Houston, the Lindners etc also have websites where you can video excerpts from their shows. Also if you have cable TV there are quite a few good locally done shows on the Comcast Sports Northwest, like Hawg Quest, Angler's Edge, and The Joy of Fishing, that show a lot of stuff that's pertinent to the local area.

Gotta second the youtube. Anything you need to know on baits, rigs, etc, you will find there. Wish they had this 30 years ago...lol

A lot of lure manufactures also have videos on their sites that show their intended use. Youtube is a pretty reliable tool, i've definitely gleaned a few techniques for bass from there, and also the "figure 8", which is probably the only reason I boated 2 Tigers last year.

Tackle Warehouse Video Vault has lots of product & how to videos. Also http://www.wired2fish.com/ also has a good selection of info.
I hope this helps some.
