Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Re: WashingtonLakes.com Pizza Party!
i like to attend
Re: WashingtonLakes.com Pizza Party!
Well, it was good, as usual, lots of gear there of different types/species of fishing. Pizza was great, cookies were great, cupcakes were also great.
Thanks again Mike for putting it on, and Dez for having it at his work place.

Re: WashingtonLakes.com Pizza Party!
whew, I'm beat, in a good way. The event was a lot of fun and there was a pretty neat variety of gear to look through. Everyone seemed to have a good time and got some good deals. Not quite as many attended as RSVPed, we had 38 members there. Lot's of new faces this year, very nice to meet you all in person!
I'm thinking we'll do this swap meet again next year, and hopefully get the attendance built up.
Thanks to Dez for his hard work and dedication - every year he has helped me with the WL.com yearly community event. He is someone I can always depend on. (plus, he always seems to enlist a friend to come help, LOL)
Pictures to follow.

OK, I have upgraded our five members who won one year Premium Memberships. Be sure to log out and back in to activate your upgrade. They are: Spokey9, jtmoore, phoenix04, DJW0414, oljohndog16. BTW, Spokey9, you should buy a lottery ticket - last year you won the May fishing report drawing and got a free year's membership!
The people that came found some great deals. Let's plan on doing this again next year. Dez, thanks again for the office space, it was perfect (despite my 9am anxieties).
Here's a few photos of the fun:

Had a great time! Got to reconnect with old friends and meet some new ones. Left with less stuff that I arrived with + a little gas $$ and a sweet rod! Came home to a few empty shelves in my garage I can start filling now also!
Definately looking forward to next year!

Thank you Mike & Dez for getting this event going. My son and I had a good time. It was nice to put some faces to some names. I look forward to next years event.

Did you sell that Curado? I had made up my mind right off if I sold enough to buy it I would. But I was way shortbcalvert wrote:Thank you Mike & Dez for getting this event going. My son and I had a good time. It was nice to put some faces to some names. I look forward to next years event.

No, I still have both Curados. That was ok though, I was trying to sell them to fund the purchase of a new rod for use with football head jigs. It just so happened Dez was selling his FB Head rod. so i left very happy.Gringo Pescador wrote:Did you sell that Curado? I had made up my mind right off if I sold enough to buy it I would. Thanks Mike and Dez for putting on the event. It was nice to see some faces to names I've read. I also walked out with some good gear along with the gift card. It has already been put to use. It was nice meeting you Gringo. Hope to do it again.

I was so tempted but I already have a half dozen bass rods and decided I had to be strong (it was extremely tough!)

So true - if there had been a bank machine in the building....Mike Carey wrote: I was so tempted but I already have a half dozen bass rods and decided I had to be strong (it was extremely tough!)

Thanks mike & dez for putting on the swap . i had a great time and got a couple of smokin' deals . Mike, i'm about as unlucky as it gets with the lotto, i can only seem to win when there's some fishing involved somewhere
