Re: RIVER Fish Pictures !
South Fork was HOT today in the rising water. TONS of fresh chrome fish and they were ready to bite with the colored water from all the rain. All on those weighted little cleo spoons i showed above. Here's 7 chromers me and my buddy kept, and a 13-15lb buck my buddy released. great day, not many people out there, either. Again sorry bout the crappy phone pics

hey fishenfreak it really slowed down on the SF after the rain on Saturday. I got there 20 minutes before the rain started, but like you said little cleos were the ticket. Got 1 and thats it! They all went into the creek during the rain.

Yea dude they realllly dont wanna bite when the water gets dirty. Right before the high we were slaying, but today it was BLOWN and we were casting right on jumpers, but we only hit 4. Mid-week on the drop is gonna BE SO KILLER. all the fish are chrome right now.

Finally got out to the skagit today! We fished concrete to hamilton. Landed 4 coho. 2 were too dark to keep, but WELL over 10 pounds. The picture is the other 2 we caught. 6 and 10 pounds. SUPER chrome. chartreuse vibrax and dick nites. Had a few others on and lost um. other 2 pictures are from samish river silver fishing the day before. Caught those on eggs of course

Re: RIVER Fish Pictures !
Now that the king salmon are officially GONE from the rivers... my buddy just added up his tally's he put on a sheet after every day of king fishing. Between me and him he tallied 541 chinook at the samish between sept 7 and the last fish we caught on oct 26th. nooooot a bad season, but starting to miss huge kings already. heres our 3 biggest fish from this year. From top to bottom, 41lbs, 40.5lbs, 36lbs.
Gonna be time soon to start counting STEEL. had exactly 75 last year. going for 100 this winter.

Re: RIVER Fish Pictures !
Thats a chromer chum nate, good going. As far as kings though, I add about 100 more fish to the 541, my biggest were 32, 30, 30, 28. best year ive ever had. would have liked to fish the vedder more. only caught one king there this year.
Re: RIVER Fish Pictures !
It's my favorite out of the way spot on the Notellum out west. It's full of chum right now, although there are lots of silver too. And as you can see, there are some chromers in there. That's one of the brightest fish I've ever caught in fresh water. I love chum fishing, almost as much as Coho.fishenfreak wrote:what river NAte? chums arent showing up here yet
