new to nw fishing

im 28, new to fishin in the nw, ive only caught a few pinks so far. i would even be happy with some panfish, but those even seem to escape me. any advice? I have decent fishing experience, i dont get it.

oh ya, i mostly fish for trout or salmon. fish for, not catch. all of my experience is arizona and montana trout, and pretty much everything that swims in Texas

And what areas do you need help with?

im in the issaquah area, looking for anywhere close, within an hour drive i guess. just cant figure out where to go... tried beaver lake, and a little on the skykomish. I dont have a boat so all i do is shore fishing.

Lake Sammamish that gets alot of kings soonad has alot of diffrent types of fish and has some good shore access

Thanks king, Ill see if I can ask around for some shore spots on sammamish then, or maybe just drive around and see if I can find some.

most of the king fishery on Lake Sammamish is a boat show.
If it looks fishy, Then fish it, If it dont look fishy, fish it anyways. <')}}}}><

I always tell those that are shore bound and don't have a boat...think about a float tube. It's inexpensive and can put you into fish. Bass, panfish, trout, muskies, even salmon. I've been doing it for years now and will continue to do so. Just an option.

Im in maple valley, I usually have an empty seat on the boat if you want to hit one of the lakes out here.
