I've been getting a lot of questions about when rivers open and for most it's the first Saturday which is June 4th not the 1st so double check your regs!!!

Check out the Cracker Bar in Sultan. Go past the Sultan boat launch, take a right at the bridge, take a right onto Ben Howard and park along there and walk down. Good area for Springers and Summers both. If the water gets high, try fishing up close to the bank. If its low and clear, get your presentation out further. Fish either cured prawns, sandshrimp, eggs, drift gear, spinners, etc.

There should be a handfull of Summers in there right now, and I know the Tulalip's have been getting kings in there nets off the Bubble meaning there should be springers to be had as well. I will be up there every day next week, PM me if you wanna meet up for lunch.

I think matt should open up his own guide service !
Just on the forum post it looks like he would have quite a few customers !

I wouldn't plunk there, but it's not to say it couldn't be done. Most of the folks there will be drift fishing and the two techniques don't really mix. If you want to plunk there are lots of holes down further on the Sky that can be productive. Near the Lewis St. bridge there is a lot of deep slow holding water for Kings.
