damn. nice work ResQ. So let me get this straight.....you (and your fellow anglers) have already boated more keeper lings than I will probably see in the next two seasons. Wow, guess it sucks to be me. any pics?? quote]

Sure do! This was a double I picked up. It truely was a banner day! I even caught 2 king salmon! Had to release them, but first was about 20-25 pounds and the second was atleast 30!

I was planning on taking my boat up. My little brother and a female friend ( the chick I told you about on the skagit with the bucket on the roof..!!! LMAO) were planning on coming. We definitly have room for 1 more fishermen if you want to join in bro. My boat fishes 4 pretty easy. She is a marine biologist also so you guys might have a lot to talk about. I promise I wont drink all your beer this time. LOL

Give me a call when you get a chance or ill call ya later on tonight.

It looks like the weather may hold out for us Sunday, but boy oh boy Monday DOES NOT look like a day to be on the salt. 35 kt gusts and 3-4 footers, yikes!!

Yah if the forecast calls for anything beyond 1-2 footer I don't go. I'm still planning to hit it up Sunday at this point, I'll keep my eye on the weather.

I've been excited for the last week when it finally dawned on me the end of the month was getting close! Don't know if I'm going to manage to get out Sunday, but Monday or Tuesday morning might need to happen!

I got some off the edmunds pier last year but it was really slow. Anybody got ideas for those of us that are shore bound?

I have heard that shore bound anglers can get a couple from the Jettys.

We had no luck with the lings for the opener. We caught maybe 10-12 of them between 20-25 inches but none in the slot. Hooked one real good head shaker first thing in the morning but it came loose. We did manage 4 cabezon though so all was not lost.

Went down to Edmonds for the opener and hooked into 2 lingcod! Lost one and brought one it in! IT measured in 29 inches, also hooked into a Rockfish! Released unharmed and swimming around! Planning to go out tuesday-friday after school @ edmonds and Saturday hoping to get down to elliot Bay or Shilshole piers!
